Book exchange recepticals/Little Free Libraries
I got involved with the Little Free Libraries through the gallery I work for. Scott Gelzer & Pat Wyzbinski from Cornerstone Management Fund organized the event through Brandon's Tool Shed The objective was to create 29 Free Libraries in memory of their son who would have been 29 this year in May.

88NINE Radio milwaukee - 2019/2020
I had the opportunity to work with 88NINE Radio Milwaukee's Erin Baggata and their marketing group. The Summer/Fall of 2019 I built seven book receptacles that would be taken out to community events where the units would get painted by the public. During each event, a drawing would take place and a winner selected to become the owner/steward of the unit painted during that event. Of the seven designs, I would apply 2 and Erin would do the other 5. Installs went through mid October and were placed as far away as Fredonia, WI. During the Summer of 2020, I built another four receptacles. Covid, CDC made it impossible to be out working with the public so the staff at 88.9 did all the painting.
The resulting graphics and appearance were some of my favorite. Spirited, bright and joyful come to mind when I see them.
